The international cricket Council has confirmed the complete Cricket Asia Cup 2020 schedule, according to the announced fixtures, the Asia Cup will be started in the month of September 2018 with the first match between Pakistan and Qualifier (The team who will qualify among the associate members), and this event is now being hosted by India, but the venue is UAE.
Earlier the announcement, BCCI decided to not to use it’s home to host the event just because of political issues with Pakistan and they requested ICC to shift the event to UAE, which was accepted later. As per to the TV rights of broadcasting Asia Cricket Cup 2018 live, Star Sports grabbed the rights to on air the entire event live in India.
