Our thoughts at this time are with the many CPL fans, players and staff from around the world who have been impacted by this crisis and we hope that they and their families stay safe and healthy.
Management Proposal for CPL 2020
On June 2020, CPL Management submitted a Proposal to the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago MR. Keith Rowley. The Proposal asked the permission from the PM to stage the entire Season in the country of Trinidad and Tobago.
The Proposal also stated that, it wanted to host the entire CPL 2020 on at Trinidad’s two main grounds. The Queen’s Park Oval and the Brian Lara Academy. Whereas, the matches will be played between 10am and 6pm Local Time on the same day. This will reduce the time duration of the event to 25 days instead of regular 39 days. The Proposal is yet pending and Keith Rowley have asked a formal approach from CPL Management.

After down performing in the early seven seasons from 2012 to 2019, the previous owners sold Saint Lucia Stars to K.P.H. Dream Cricket Private Limited.
