Just In! England have qualified for the World cup final after 27 years today when they beat Australia by eight wickets in the second semi final match. After this victory, England march forward to the CWC 2019, where they will meet New Zealand who already qualified when they beat India by 18 runs in the first semi final match. The CWC 2019 will be held between New Zealand and England at Lord’s, London on 14th July.
England did this fantastic job after 27 years when they lost ICC Cricket World Cup 1992 Final to Pakistan. All these years, England were tough, passionate and they outnumbered top teams. However, England have never won the CWC title, so did the New Zealand team. So, it will be fascinating to see, how these two finalists will greet each other on Sunday at Lord’s, London.
England seem to be confident under the leadership of Eoin Morgan. They pair of Openers in the form of Jason Roy and Jhonny Bairtstow is doing wonders in the first place. Moreover, England defeated the top teams such as India and New Zealand in the group stage to reach the knockouts.
Given that, England defeated New Zealand in the group stage match by 119 runs, England will be looking forward to lift their first ever CWC Trophy. Winning it on their home ground will even be more special.
