All the American-based fighters have now landed and are quarantining in their hotel rooms on Yas Island. Everyone I spoke to has had nothing but good things to say about the process. In the end, they didn’t take a COVID test at the airport, rather at the hotel.
So far Everything is CCTV monitored, I’m told, so they are making sure everyone stays in their respective rooms. It appears as though the protocol there is much stricter than for the Jacksonville and Las Vegas events, so far, but no one has complained to me. Everyone seems pleased.
