Michael Leask is a Scottish cricketer who plays for Scotland. He was born on October 5, 1991 in Aberdeen. His cricketing career started with the Aberdeenshire Cricket Club before joining the Grange Cricket Club in Edinburgh.

At this club he played as an opening batsman and scored over 3,000 runs including three centuries at an average of just under 50. In 2017 he signed to play for Middlesex County Cricket Club after being recommended by James Foster, who had previously coached him at Grange CC.

The contract also includes a coaching role with MCC Academy which will allow Leask to work alongside Trevor Bayliss.

Although he was born in Zimbabwe, he made himself eligible to play for Scotland by taking residency there before 2010 World Cup Qualifiers against Ireland which were played at Hamilton Crescent Cricket Ground on 21 May 2010 (the game ended up being abandoned due to rain).
