Just In! Afghanistan Wicket Keeper and opener Mohammad Shehzad has been suspended by the Afghanistan Cricket Board for Breaching the Code Of Conduct. Shehzad, who is the leading run scorer for Afghanistan in International Cricket, was banned for indefinite period of time, for violating the ACB’s rules.
It appears that, the sittings of Afghanistan’s star Player Mohammad Shehzad are not going well with the Afghanistan Cricket Board. As per ACB’s rules and regulations, a player must inform the Board Officials, before traveling out of the country. Shehzad who previously was ruled out of ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, following a disciplinary action by the ACB, again has bee punished for bad code of conduct.
In CWC 2019, Shehzad was sent back to Afghanistan (his home country) during the tournament, with out any announcement. After reaching back to home, Shehzad called on press to lash out Afghanistan Cricket Board, for biased behavior and ruling him out from the World Cup.
The Disciplainry Committee Said:
“The Discipline Committee will meet after Eid-ul Adha holidays to assess the breaches by Mohammad Shahzad and make a decision to be publicized soon. ACB has well-equipped training and practice facilities within the country and Afghan players do not require to travel abroad for such purposes.”
Shehzad is a star players and he is good in the team, rather than staying out of his team and missing the upcoming Afghan Cricket Matches. The Board and Mohammad Shehzad must settle out their differences, so that, Afghan Cricket fans once again see Mohammad Shehzad in action.
