Just In: Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the initial 15-member squad for Asia Cup 2022. According to details, Baber Azam will lead the Pakistan Cricket Team throughout this event. However, Hassan Ali fails to book his spot in the Final Playing Eleven.
Chief Selector Muhammad Wasim has shared this news on Twitter, and stated that, “We have only made changes that were necessary. Both the competitions are important for us and, as such, we have picked our best available players in consultation with the Captain and Head Coach.”

Pakistan has now become the 1st team to unveil their squad for Asia Cup 2022. In addition, PCB also announced a possible squad for the upcoming ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League fixtures versus the Netherlands, starting from 16th August 2022.
Asia Cup 2022 is scheduled on 27th August 2022 at UAE. However, the most awaiting match of this event will be played between India vs Pakistan on 28th August at Dubai. Indian Cricket Board has yet not announced their squad for this tournament.
