Marcus Harris
Marcus Harris was only 18 when he scored 157 for Western Australia in the 2010-11 Marsh Shield season, making him the youngest Australian ever to record a first-class 150. The opening batsman continued to play 41 more games for his state, including a Man of the Match award in the final of the 2014-15 season, before moving to Victoria in 2016. Gritty Harris considerably improved over the next two years, earning a Test call-up for the 2018-19 series against India – going on to post two fifties in four matches. His love affair with the Marsh Shield resumed soon after, with his incredible 141 in the final gifting the title to Victoria.
At the age of 18, Marcus Harris became the youngest Australian to score a 150 in first-class cricket.
