PSL 2022 Schedule, Time Table & Match Fixtures – PSL 7 Schedule

Breaking News! PSL 2022 Schedule has just been announced by the PSL Management. As per the announcement of PSL Management, PSL 2022 is all set to start from 27th January 2022 in Pakistan. A total of six Franchise Teams are going to Participate in this season of the Pakistan Super League. A number of 34 matches (including) will be played between these Franchise teams. Finally, the moment has come for which we all have been desperately waiting for, as PSL Management announces PSL 2022 Schedule in an announcement. This will be the fifth season of the Pakistan Super League in which a total of six teams will take part. A total of 34 PSL T20 matches will be held in this season of PSL. PSL 7 Opening Ceremony will be held on 27th January 2022. The inaugural match for PSL 2022 will take place between Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi on 20th February 2022.

Legendary Cricketer and Sultan of Swing Wasim Iqbal is the President & Bowling Mentor for the Karachi Kings in PSL 7. Former Head Coach of Islamabad United MR Dean Jones has recently joined Karachi Kings as the new Head Coach. Whereas, Faisal Iqbal is the batting Coach for the Karachi Kings in this season of the Pakistan Super League. However, the Fielding Coach responsibility is taken by the South African former Cricketer MR Johan Botha.

Lahore Qalandars Schedule & Squad for PSL 2022

Lahore Qalandars represent the Qalandar spirit of the citizens of Lahore in Pakistan. Also, Lahore is the capital city of Punjab Province in Pakistan. Lahore Qalandars is owned by MR Fawad Rana, who has gained a lot of popularity for his fighting spirit on the internet since the first season of the Pakistan Super League. In addition, Geo TV Network is the Media Partner for Lahore Qalandars in PSL 2022.

Former Pakistani Cricketer Aqib Javed is the Head Coach of Lahore Qalandars in this season of PSL. Whereas, Shoaib Akhtar who is also known as Rawalpindi Express for his 100 mph bowling speed is the Bowling Coach for Lahore Qalandars.

Shaheen Afridi has been named as the Captain for Lahore Qalandars in PSL 2022. He is first class cricketer from Abbottabad who has played in the Pakistan Cup and Quid e Azam Trophy. Quetta Gladiators represent the Gladiator Spirit of the Citizens of the Quetta in Pakistan. Also, Quetta is the Capital City of the Baluchistan Province in Pakistan. Quetta Gladiators are owned by the Nadeem Omar of Omar Associates. Former Pakistani Wicket Keeper Moeen Khan is the Head Coach for the Quetta Gladiators in this season of the Pakistan Super League. Islamabad United Schedule & Squad for PSL 2022

Islamabad United represents the unity of the Citizens of Islamabad in Pakistan. Also, Islamabad is the capital city of Pakistan. Islamabad United became the first-ever champions of PSL in 2016. However, they lost their title Peshawar Zalmi in the following year. But, they again reclaimed their PSL Title in 2018. They are the only Franchise to hold the PSL title two times.

This top team of PSL is owned by Ali Naqvi and Amna Naqvi of Leonine Global Sports. Former Pakistani Captain and the current Chief of Pakistan Cricket Board Misbah ul Haq has recently joined Islamabad United as the New Head Coach. Surprisingly Misbah Captained ISLU in the first season of PSL when they emerged as the first-ever champions of PSL.

National Stadium, Karachi Match Fixtures, and Time Table for PSL 2022

National Stadium is a Cricket Stadium in Pakistan Located in the Karachi City. This Cricket Stadium is home to the Karachi Kings Franchise of PSL and Pakistan’s National Cricket Team. National Stadium Karachi was built in 1955 and it has the seating capacity to entertain 34,228 cricket spectators.

In the Past, National Stadium, Karachi has hosted Tests, ODIs, and T20 matches for the International Cricket Teams. However, in 2018 this cricket stadium marked the return of PSL Cricket to Pakistan when it hosted the PSL 2018 final match between Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi.

This year National Stadium Karachi will be hosting 20 PSL Matches in PSL 2022. Mainly, this stadium will host Karachi Kings matches in PSL 7. However, most of the PSL matches held at this stadium will be in night time.

Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore Match Fixtures and Time Table for PSL 2022

Gaddafi Stadium is a cricket stadium in Pakistan named after the Late Libyan Leader Muammar Gaddafi. This Cricket Stadium is located in Lahore and was built in 1959. Gaddafi Stadium has the seating capacity of 27,000 cricket viewers. This Cricket Stadium is home to the Pakistan Cricket Team and Lahore Qalandars of PSL.

In the Past Gaddafi Stadium has hosted Tests, ODI and T20 matches. But, in 2017 it marked the return of PSL T20 to Pakistan, when it hosted PSL 2017 Final between Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi.

This year, Gaddafi Stadium will host 16 matches including the play off matches and final. Mainly, This cricket stadium will host Lahore Qalandars matches. However, Gadaffi Stadium matches in PSL 2022 will mostly be in night time.
