Finally, CWC 2019 has came to an epic end, as England claim the World Champions title after defeating New Zealand. However, this was not a usual World Cup final as the both teams fought till the end. Both teams scored 241 runs in the 50 over of their innings, so the match was shifted to the Super Over. Surprisingly, the result was even this time, too. However, England were concluded the world cup 2019 winners as per highest margins (most boundaries scored by the winning side). Veteran Cricketers are not happy over this controversial decision. They react on twitter:
Former Australian Star Fast Bowler Brett Lee Said:
Congratulations to England! Commiserations New Zealand. I’ve got to say that it’s a horrible way to decide the winner. This rule has to change.

Former Indian Opener Gautam Ghambir Wrote:
Don’t understand how the game of such proportions, the #CWC19Final, is finally decided on who scored the most boundaries. A ridiculous rule @ICC. Should have been a tie. I want to congratulate both @BLACKCAPS & @englandcricket on playing out a nail biting Final. Both winners imo.
