Argentina

#1. Argentina is undoubtedly the most successful Copa America Team with 15 Titles to their name. Therefore, they take the top spot on our list. They became the South American Championship Winners for the first time in 1921. However, their true reign as South American champions started in the late 1920s when they won three titles in 1925, 1927, and 1929.

Unfortunately, during the next decade, Argentina managed to have only one South American Championship title in 1937. However, Argentina came back stronger in the 1940s and won the title four times in 1941, 1945, 1946, and 1947.
